No Shrimp

The oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico was two years ago. We dealt with closed beaches, lost jobs, a resulting crummy local economy (during an already bad recession) that is trying so hard to recover. Birds cleaned, turtles under watch, dolphins washing ashore but the beach looks clean most of the time. I can see in shells on the beach where the mollusk or gastropod ate from oily sand. I’ve just finished washing oil from my sandals last week.
But now, with mutant shrimp, the Gulf shrimp season around the Mobile Bay region is closed ’til further notice. Science experts have to check things out.
Here’s an article I found on the topic I’d like you to read.

So now, what’s a shrimper to do?
