Gorgeous day for a beach walk/nature walk. It started with ancient ruins of a once fortified sand castle. Then, with the tide retreating, we saw handfuls of live scallops, sea urchins, sponges, sea pork, and more. There were shore birds taking a pose while others ate red-tide-ravaged fish. Then we spotted the ever elusive beach orange and ended our northbound walk at the pier before heading to the pool. All we saw there were sun bathers. LOL. Egg cases, sponges and the moon over SeaPlace. I ❤️ the coastal life. Are you looking for a house on the beach? Cool vintage photo. That's my Granny in the red suit with my older brother...Ocean City MD. Sometime in the 60s. A purple sunset through the screened porch Because I worked all day Jan 1, I started the year and week off today with a beach walk with my sweetie. We found red finger sponge, a crab and resting birds.
